I, Maggi Gunn (by Maggi), have been designing and manufacturing custom jewelry for over 20 years. Although mostly working in technical fields (BS degree in Chemistry/Business), I have always pursued my interest in the arts. Specialized training has been through the Mendocino Art Center, Mendocino, Ca; various college and adult education programs; International Research Inst.'s home study of gemstones; Gemological Institute of America; and various special workshops.

After retiring to Central Oregon, I have devoted more time to the design, fabrication and manufacture of unique jewelry items and custom work. I am a member of Arts Central, a local fine arts group and treasurer of Central Oregon Metal Arts Guild (COMAG). Also in retirement I became a certified fitness instructor and teach 4-8 classes/week.

Most of my work is one-of-a-kind and mostly by the lost wax method. I work in 14K yellow gold and sterling silver. Unusual gem materials and shapes are the keystone of much of my imaginative work. Often the shape or uniqueness of the gem material is the basis of these freeform designs.

My designs fit the confident, sophisticated woman who gravitates to the unique and unusual. If you like the eclectic, imaginative, often fanciful and sometimes whimsical, you will like my (by Maggi)'s work. On the whimsical side I design one-of-a-kind clown charms to be worn as charms, pendants or as an accent on a key ring.
